An exchange traded fund, or an ETF for short, is a managed fund that is traded on a stock exchange such as the ASX or Cboe (formelly known as Chi-X).
ETFs are made up of a diversified portfolio of investments, usually shares or bonds, and they can be a simple and easy way to invest.
Alphinity's active ETF's are managed by their dedicated Portfolio Managers who make active investment decisions about the shares within the portfolio. These active investment decisions are based on the Alphinity's investment strategy, philosophy and process.
How to invest:
- Please read the Fund's PDS and TMD to ensure the key attributes of the Fund aligns with your objectives, financial situation and needs before making a decision about whether to acquire or continue to hold the Fund. If you are unsure if the product is right for you, we recommend consulting your broker or financial adviser before investing.
- Buy and sell an Active ETF the same way you would shares on the ASX/Cboe, through your online trading account or a stock broker.

Benefits of Active ETFs
Investors usually choose Active ETFs because with a single purchase of an Active ETF, investors benefit from the expertise of professional investment managers and access a portfolio of securities you may not otherwise be able to purchase individually. In addition, the transaction costs of an Active ETF can be lower than if you traded the individual securities (eg shares or bonds) yourself or through a broker.
