Jonathan has over 16 years of investment experience. Jonathan co-manages the Greencape High Conviction Fund with David Pace.

In 2004 Jonathan began working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, in their Corporate Finance & Recovery division. His experience there spanned across business recovery, forensic accounting and transaction services. In 2005 he joined BlackRock (formerly Merrill Lynch Investment Managers) as an equities analyst for the Australian Fundamental Equity team where he worked with David Pace, Matthew Ryland and Marc Hester prior to Greencape’s inception. Along with covering a number of sectors, he also assisted in long only and long short portfolio construction for the Australian equities team.

In 2012, Jonathan joined the BlackRock Asian Fundamental Equity team and was responsible for research and stock selection across the Australian market. He also contributed to Australian macro views within the Asian equity context, was involved in asset allocation meetings and his input was sought after from an Australian ESG perspective. Jonathan joined Greencape Capital in December 2012.
