Malcolm is a founding partner at Cultiv8 based at GATE in Orange. He co-founded SparkLabs Cultiv8 in 2017 and specialised in sourcing investment opportunities, managing the portfolio and corporate relationships to scale company growth. ​ ​ Malcolm is a director at Wentworth Securities, a boutique investment banking firm dedicated to mid, small and microcap markets, along with institutional investment advisory and wealth management. In 2022, he stepped down as Managing Director.​ ​

Malcolm has previously held the position of Senior Investment Advisor at Macquarie Bank, where he built a reputable wealth management business and facilitated many smaller company capital raisings. He was Senior Investment Advisor of Ord Minnett and Investment Analyst at Crescent Capital. ​ ​

Malcolm has a Bachelor and Master of Commerce, as well as a University Blue from the University of Sydney.​
