Stephen Clout co-founded Ardea IM and is the Chief Executive Officer. Stephen has worked in the funds management industry since 2001 with responsibilities spanning portfolio implementation, trading and client relationships.

As CEO, Stephen has ultimate responsibility for creating and implementing the strategic direction of Ardea IM. Stephen also oversees client and consultant relationships to ensure Ardea IM delivers on client expectations at all times. In support of this, Stephen also has ultimate oversight of portfolio implementation at Ardea IM.

Prior to Ardea IM, Stephen was head of portfolio construction at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Australia, with responsibility for implementation and execution across all fixed income securities and derivatives. Stephen also managed dedicated foreign exchange hedging mandates, as well as implementation for diversified and balanced portfolio strategies. Stephen graduated with majors in Economic History and Government & Politics from the University of Sydney.
